Troubleshooting
Part of my scene is missing in the tour
Turn on the coverage map: anything without cyan wasn't seen by a hotspot. Add a hotspot that can see it. Hidden objects and hidden layers are never captured.
"You've reached the maximum of 100 hotspots."
A tour holds up to 100 hotspots. Delete one to add another, or split the space into two tours.
"Too big for an object: use the Exterior tab."
The Object tab is for things up to 25 m across. Capture anything bigger as an exterior.
"Set Arnold's environment to Physically-Based to export"
In 3ds Max, open Render Setup › Arnold › Environment and switch it from Advanced to Physically-Based, then export again.
Some views come out black with V-Ray GPU
Use VRayMtl and VRayLight instead of Physical Material and photometric lights, or switch to V-Ray CPU. See the engine notes.
Unreal: path tracing isn't supported for interiors
Switch your capture back to Lumen and export again. See the engine notes.
Your files & privacy
- The plugins send nothing about you or your scene. The only connection is the Blender add-on’s update check: once a day, while Blender’s Allow Online Access is on, it reads a small file from downloads.nukxon.com to see whether a newer version is out. Your scene stays on your computer until you upload the
.nukxonfile yourself; you only sign in to upload. - A
.nukxonfile holds your scene's 3D geometry, the rendered 360° views of each capture point, the camera positions, and the names you gave your hotspots. The Privacy Policy spells out what a published tour shows. - Your work stays yours: while your account exists, you can download the Gaussian splat of any of your tours as an
.spzfile. It is the only file you can download (the tour itself stays on Nukxon), and only you can download it, not the people you share a tour with.
Email contact@nukxon.com with your 3D tool and its version, your render engine, and a screenshot of the Nukxon panel.
