How we work toward WCAG 2.2 AA, what we have done and where the limits are.
Our target
We want everyone to be able to use nukxon.com, whatever they use to browse and however they see, hear, move or think. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We have not had an independent audit yet, so we do not claim full conformance: this page says what we have done, and where the limits are.
What we have done
- Text alternatives. Pictures that carry meaning have a short description. Decorative pictures are hidden from screen readers. Clips that show something have a text description; purely decorative loops are hidden.
- Motion. If your device asks for reduced motion, clips do not start on their own and animations stop. Every looping clip has a pause and play button you can use with a mouse, a touch screen or the keyboard.
- Keyboard. Every page can be used without a mouse. A “Skip to main content” link comes first, menus open when they take focus and close with the Escape key, and the item that has focus is clearly marked.
- Screen readers. Pages have a title, a language, landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), headings in order and labelled form fields. Messages after you send a form are announced.
- Colour and text. Text colours are chosen to meet the 4.5 : 1 contrast ratio on the page they sit on.
- How we check. Every page is run through automated checks (axe-core) after it has been drawn in the browser, and we test with the keyboard and with reduced motion switched on. This statement was last reviewed on October 29, 2026.
Known limits
- The 3D viewer. A tour, an object or a 4D scene is an interactive 3D view drawn in the browser. It cannot be read out by a screen reader the way a page of text can, and some actions inside it, such as orbiting by dragging, are easiest with a pointer. We provide text alternatives around it, such as the name and description of each project, and we keep working on keyboard access.
- Clips. Our demonstration clips are short loops without sound. The text beside each clip says what it shows.
- Other companies’ pages. Payments, sign-in and some embedded content are provided by other companies, and their accessibility is theirs to maintain.
